The following study, published in the Journal of Physical Therapy Science, displays the effectiveness of active rehabilitation on reducing pain in patients with chronic lower back pain. This study divided participants into an experimental group, which received an active rehabilitation exercise regime, and a control group, which did not. The goal of the administered rehabilitation program was to improve core back strength, focusing on the abdominal muscles. It was found that experimental groups increased their back strength and presented lower levels of subjective pain.
Meditrac identifies the benefits of active rehabilitation for chronic spinal pain relief, which is why we have created portable devices that allow direct 3D traction with mobility. Our “traction on the move” concept is based upon the benefits that are shown through active rehabilitation. Motion is the new lotion for the spine!
